Sunglasses and bottle openers are about as common at a tailgate party as secondhand smoke and free liquor is inside a casino. Most of the time sunglasses stay on people’s faces while the bottle openers get moved around and often times misplaced. Introducing Brewsees. These are sunglasses that have bottle openers integrated right into the earpieces. That’s right. Sunglasses that open up bottles.
As you can see from the images, these tailgating sunglasses have a bottle opener on the end of each earpiece. The metal reinforced earpieces have “teeth” that can grab a hold of a bottle cap and take it off in no time. We have a pair of Brewsees and enjoy them so much that they have become our everyday sunglasses. Check out the video demonstration we did on how easy and sturdy the Brewsees are in taking off bottle caps.
Here are the specs on these tailgating sunglasses that open beer bottles:
When testing out these tailgating sunglasses, I was at first a bit tentative to use it like a bottle opener at the bar. I first opened a bottle but placed my index finger on the top of the earpiece so as to not snap off the back end of these glasses. There was no bend using this technique and the bottle cap popped right off. The next beer I opened I was a bit more ambitious and held the glasses in the middle and let the teeth worry about if they were strong enough. Again, same result. Cap popped right off and the Brewsees were looking still brand new. Bottom line is that the earpieces on the Brewsees will handle all kinds of stubborn bottle caps without fear of breaking the frames, lenses or the earpieces.
Brewsees definitely gets not only a passing grade from us to make it “Tailgate Approved” but these tailgating sunglasses are highly recommended. They are comfortable to wear, protected your eyes and when you whip off your glasses to open a beer bottle you will definitely be the hit of the tailgate.
Brewsees retail for $39.95 plus $5 U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail postage. For less than $45 you’ll be the hit of the tailgate party, ski slopes, picnic, fishing trip, float trip or camping.
