Those savvy tailgaters will recognize the Margaritaville Tailgating Grill is actually a Freedom Grill FG-50 model grill with some slight changes and additions to add the Margaritaville branding and colors. Despite the slight changes the nuts and bolts of this grill have remained the same.
The main features consistent with the Margaritaville and Freedom Grill Tailgating Grill is the patented swing arm that allows you to transport your grill on the outside of your vehicle by attaching to your 2″ tow hitch. This ensures that your grill will never need to be placed in the back of your SUV or slide around in the bed of your pick-up truck. You will never have to clean our grease or grime from your tailgating vehicle because the Margaritaville Tailgating Grill rides to and from the game or concert on the outside. An extra added benefit is that you look like a real tailgater on your way to the game with a grill on your car.
Once parked, that patented swing arm unlocks and swings away from your vehicle allowing you access to your cargo area or the bed of your truck. Once you are done, swing the grill back into place and use the provided padlock to lock it securely. This way your grill will remain safe while you go inside and enjoy the game or concert worry-free. When you are not tailgating, the Margaritaville Tailgating Grill comes with legs that allow for tabletop grilling either at home, the park, the beach, campsites or anywhere else you want to grill.
The versatility of the Margaritaville Tailgating Grill doesn’t stop at the swing arm. This full sized gas grill can handle a 1 lb. propane bottle or a 20 lb. cylinder. A standard 1-lb propane tank will provide approximately 1 1/2 hours of cooking time on high heat. The optional accessory hose allows you to connect a standard 20 lb propane tank to the grill for 20+ hours of cook time.
